A word from Daisy

Hello Everyone

Ok so I know that everyone is in a state of unbelief and how can this be true.  I know that everyone cares for me and that you don't want to see me go through this AGAIN!  Well me NEITHER!  So we can all ask the questions why and we can all cry and cry or be mad and throw things, but I want to see more from you.  God created each and everyone of us and this world is so full of pain and struggles, but My God is awesome!  He carries me through everything!  All of us hurt!  All of us cry!  All of us want to have love and joy!  The only way to that truly fulfilling unconditional love is with Jesus Christ.  My Lord and Savior. 

So here is the most important part!  Where are you in your faith with God?  Have you accepted Jesus Christ as the only way?  The Bible says no one comes to the Father (Heavenly) except through Jesus!  I care for not only your life here on earth, but more so your eternity.  I want to go to Heaven and see all my family and friends there.  So if there is any doubt that eternity with God is not what you know is going to happen, then people we need to talk.  Galations 2:20 says, "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.  The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me!

Now for the treatment....
I have to go once a week.  I will be taking Herceptin, Taxol, and a trial Chemo pill.  The doctor thinks I will have less side affects this time, but I will believe it when it happens.  Dr. is very confident that these meds will get my disease under control.  My cancer is currently in my liver and possibly in several lymph nodes in my chest.  I start all this  the Wednesday after Memorial weekend.  Thank you all for your prayers and support.  More info will come later.  Love you!

    I am so glad you guys put this together. Even with everything Daisy is going through, she is still thinking about the spiritual well-being of her friends and family. Daisy, you are truley a child of God. My thoughts and prayers are with you today. Love you!!

    Was just humming Chris Tomlin's song "Our God Is Greater". Some of the lyrics are "Our God is greater, our God is stronger, God You are higher than any other, our God is Healer, awesome in power, our God, our God" and also "And if our God is for us then who could ever stop us, and if our God is with us then what could stand against".     Daisy my favorite scripture is Philipians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. You are living testimony of this. And here you are once again thinking of others. Wanted to let you know I am down here in Oklahoma, Cathy had her baby on Memorial Day. (Yes a healthy baby boy).We love you girl and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.     You are very strong and you will some through this with god's help and all will be fine. Don't get down, you inspire all even though you are going through all this. I will most def. keep you in my prayers...and if you EVER need anything. Babysitter, supper made, you name it and I will help. Just pick up the phone and I am there.

This is what we believe as we go on Katy's journey thru cancer. You gave words of encouragement to Katy at a very hard time in her treatment. I'm glad you had this blog, so we had the chance to share ours. Anxious to hear updates on your progress!
